Description
The Sand Blows In, is a Fine Art print of an original mixed-media painting by Marion King. It was inspired by the abandoned villages found on the mountainsides of Oman. In this artwork, you can see the buildings still standing strong with their outer walls fully intact. The tops of three mosques covered in shimmering gold leaf, resemble dancers with outstretched arms, welcoming the viewer into the scene. Amongst the empty buildings, there are palm trees and other vegetation, a reminder of nature’s presence amidst the deserted surroundings. The Sand Blows In, invites you to imagine the beauty of these forgotten villages and how nature continues to thrive alongside them.
Printed on Giclée Hahnemühle German Etching paper with archival inks and hand embellished with gold leaf, making each print unique. Three different print options are available; framed and mounted in wooden frames with glass, mounted on cradled wood panels or prints with 15mm white borders ready for framing.
All prints come with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
