The evil eye motif design is native to Mediterranean and Arab culture. In this art piece, I have combined the evil eye motif along with mandala art to create a fusion design in a brilliant blue colour. It represents my life story, as an Indian expat raised in an Arab country and also how I’m raising my family here.
Artsyurmi is the brainchild of Urmila Santosh. Urmila is a mom of 2 boys, and an enthusiastic artist full of energy and joy! Her art style is inspired by her Indian culture. She enjoys painting pieces of decor and gifts that include mandala art and Indian folk art.
